Youth Led Action for Sex Education

It is expected that this programme for effective sex education will build an informed young generation able to take full advantage of information and services to control their sexual health.

The project will seek to achieve the following:-

  • Young people (15-19 years of age) know about sexual and reproductive health topics including reproduction, methods of protection, relative risk of HIV, and where to access services.
  • An enabling environment is created for young people to have positive attitudes towards gender and power.
  • Training of Trainers (ToT): 25 trainers/facilitators to be trained (facilitators to be between 18-25 years: equal representation of males and females).
  • Mission Roll-out: SRHR curriculum delivery with 3000 adolescents (out of school 65% of adolescent to be females).
