Jatan has been partnering with M-Rite (Momentum Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity – USAID), scaling up the uptake of COVID 19 Vaccines in Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur and Sirohi. The broad objective of the partnership has been to increase the rate of vaccination of both doses with a focus on the most marginalized and excluded populations.

• Improve COVID – 19 vaccine administration and service delivery through community engagement and support to service providers in four tribal districts of Rajasthan so as to enable last mile connectivity
• Reduce vaccination hesitancy amongst community members especially tribal people through mapping and awareness activities
• Cover all government approved age group cohorts under vaccination drive
• Increased community and stakeholder involvement (FLWs, volunteers) through regular meetings, gram choupals, etc. as well as rigorous monitoring and reporting
