Menstrual Health & Uger Cloth Pad
Beliefs and practices around menstruation affect a women’s self image and self esteem, her health and well being, and her position in society.
BMZ
The BMZ-supported project, implemented by Jatan Sansthan across the districts of Ajmer, Rajsamand, and Bhilwara, focuses on eliminating child marriage and empowering adolescents. Central to the program is the establishment of 30 Adolescent Resource Centers (ARCs), which serve as safe, inclusive, and vibrant spaces for adolescent engagement, learning, and leadership.
These ARCs are equipped with educational materials, digital tools, libraries, sports equipment, and creative resources to promote holistic development. To support the intervention, a dedicated multidisciplinary team was recruited, including project coordinators, field facilitators, trainers, and ARC facilitators.
